I've been moving and traveling since I was four years old, and my fantasy my writing reflects my real-life experience. I share a smiling photo, but moving frequently is hard. Through my struggles, God has shown me how important my outlook is: No matter what comes, I do my best to thank God for another chapter in the story he is giving me—to see his goodness (true beauty) in it, and to share what is good (see Mark 10:18) with others. My books help me maintain my joy, hope, and faith in the ultimate happy ending (see Rev. 21 & 22).

Knowing a little about my own longing for home, family, and connection will give you insights into most (if not all) of my characters...and me. :) I pray their fictional adventures invite the joy of discovery, awaken the comfort of true friendship, ignite the hope of God's purpose in all things (especially the hard things), and inspire a love of family as one of God's greatest gifts to us! (I write with the hope that I'll be able to read my stories to my own family one day.)
